Even We Have Believed

Galatians 2:16 KJV
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

I like the phrase, "even we have believed in Jesus Christ."

Paul, a Jew, a man who was well versed in the standards, customs and disciplines of the pharisaical traditions towards righteousness, said that he knew that a man is not justified by the works of the law.
He knew it by the revelation of the Lord
He knew it by the study of the Old Testament
He knew it through his own attempt to be justified by the works of the law.

Paul, a man who had met the resurrected Christ personally on the road to Damascus, and who had been trained personally by the Lord in Arabia,[1] said he knew that a man could only be justified by the faith of Jesus Christ.

So even a man like Paul believed in Jesus Christ and
Even a man like me believed in Jesus Christ.
