He Did Come

Malachi 3:1 KJV
Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.

This prophecy was fulfilled just about 400 years after it was given.

The messenger, John the Baptist did come and prepare the way.
Jesus Christ, the Lord did come
He came suddenly
He came in an unexpected way
He came not only to the Temple but as the Temple

Jesus came the first time as "the lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world."
He is the Saviour
He is the Lord
He is he Great Physician who heals our disease of sin

Sometimes people wonder why He allows so many bad things to happen in our world today. That is because He is still the lamb. His purpose today is not to condemn but to save.

The New Testament prophecies that He will return yet again.
He will come for His Christians to rescue them from this world
He will come next time as a Lion against His enemies to defeat them in His judgment.

Are we ready?
