Ezekiel 39:8 KJV
Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord GOD; this is the day whereof I have spoken.
The context is that of the Millennial Kingdom of Jesus Christ. The prophecy projects the kingdom past time and emphatically declares, "Behold it is come, and it is done...."
Now here is the thing, is has not come yet; it is not done yet. That day which the Lord has spoken of is still not come. Be careful of the scoffer's spirit though. Don't let yourself think God is in any way being slack. In God's eyes the Kingdom of Christ is as good as here.
It is hastening quickly
It is a sure thing
And that is true of everything that is in the Word of God. Faith sees the substance of it even though the flesh has no physical evidence of it.
God's Word is true
God's timing is now
God's work is as good as done and
God's people believe it that way.
