Philippians 1:4 KJV
Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,
Philippians is the most positive of all the epistles of the apostle. His experience with them is was one of closeness and love.
I see in this verse an extreme. One could almost say to the point of impossible.
• Always
• Every
• All
If it were not in the Word of God I would count it as an exaggeration.
But it is in the Word of God.
And it is a measure we fall far too short of. Paul gave himself no room for
• Error
• Forgetfulness or
• Human failure
It is impossible to misread this. He never missed a chance to pray for these brethren.
May God give us some prayer warrior like that. May we pray for someone like that.
