John 14:28 KJV
Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
Chapter 14 is drenched in love.
• There is the love of Jesus for the disciples in giving them reassurance
• There is the love of the Father for Christ and
• There is the love of Christ for the Father
Jesus not only reassures the disciples but promises them new help in prayer and new comfort in the Holy Spirit.
