I Am The Lord

Leviticus 19:2 KJV
Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the LORD your God am holy.

The whole of this chapter deals with things that are simple living:
• Care for the deaf
• Saving part of your harvest for the poor
• Honoring your parents
• Loving your neighbor
• Attending your worship and
• Doing your business

And in all of it;
• The religious
• The moral, and
• The civil
the underlying principle is that God is our Lord. We are to behave in every sphere of life remembering that we belong to God.
