Seducing Spirits

1 Timothy 4:1 KJV
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

That some shall depart from the faith ought to bring careful thought into the heart if every believer. This apostasy is not a losing of salvation but a deliberate turning of a faith once delivered. It happens by giving heed to seducing spirits, by entertaining the practices of those who are of a different faith and whose "ministry" is seductive through
  • Wealth or
  • Popularity or
  • Elegance

Those who depart almost always have a predisposition toward it either by
  • An arrogance against authorities over them or
  • A pride that blinds them to warning or
  • An insecurity that tends to need worldly success for self validation

That these are seducing spirits suggests their efforts are purposeful. This is a meaningful movement against the house of God. We should take caution against this seductive movement by refusing its first inroad, which is our giving it heed.
