Galatians 3:14 KJV
That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
The blessing of Abraham was righteousness by faith. It was:
- A promise he trusted but did not fully receive in this life
- Reinforced through the sign of circumcision and later the law
- Before the law and not disannulled by it
