The Marks of God's Call

Exodus 35:30 KJV
And Moses said unto the children of Israel, See, the LORD hath called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;

Exodus 36:1-2 KJV
Then wrought Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whom the LORD put wisdom and understanding to know how to work all manner of work for the service of the sanctuary, according to all that the LORD had commanded.
And Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whose heart the LORD had put wisdom, even every one whose heart stirred him up to come unto the work to do it:

Years ago I read where Spurgeon said God's call to the ministry could be identified with three markers:
·       A burden
·       A gift
·       An opportunity

Bezaleel and Aholiab were not called of God to the pastorate, but they were unquestionably called. There are, in these verses, three markers of their calling
·       They were called by name
·       They were wise and gifted

·       They were stirred in their hearts
