I am focusing on the references to Christ through the pronouns in the verse:
When He had called…That’s authority
Unto Him…That’s location nowhere else
His twelve…That’s possession
He gave them…That’s power
The Christian faith is faith in Christ and no other. Sometimes we forget that and make it about everything and everyone else, but it is only Christianity when it is only about Christ.
