Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

The Word of God says our blessings are:
- Spiritual and
- In heavenly places
We err to our hurt when we think, expect or seek from God blessings that are temporal and earthly. The blessings God gives are rich and administered to us through the wisdom and prudence of God. They are blessings such as:
- Holiness before Him
- Adoption as His children
- Forgiveness of sins
- An expectation of heaven
- An inheritance awaiting us
The blessings that belong to the Christian are abundant and sweet. They are greater than we could have ever hoped. But they are spiritual and heavenly so only the spiritually minded Christian can appreciate them.
