Revelation 3:22 (KJV) He Speaks “Unto the Churches”

Revelation 3:22 (KJV)
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. 

The Spirit spoke to the churches. Churches of course are made up of individuals and the message in each letter has application to individuals but the Spirit spoke this message unto the churches.

• We will hear from the Spirit when we are in and part of a church 
• We will hear from the Spirit a message that is connected to our church
• We will hear a message related to our church but
• We will only hear it when we “will” to hear it.

Someone in every church had an ear. Someone didn’t have an ear. I think the difference is the choice to listen. We only receive it as individuals in the church. The message is spoken to a church and in context of the church but, as an individual in the church, I must hear it personally.
