Ephesians 1:23 (KJV) The Fulness of Christ

Ephesians 1:23 (KJV)
Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
Too little focus is placed these days on the church. It is considered secondary to what is supposed to be the invisible, universal church/body. It is thought to be imperfect and therefore not necessary. It is considered by some to be corrupt and in that case to be rejected.
As to the invisible universal conceptI contend that so such thing exists in the Bible. It is a relic derived from Catholicism. It is conjured up in Bible studies bent on Protestant presupposition.
As to the charge that not church is perfectI agree. Churches are composed of sinful human beings. Though we are saved we are not without sin. But the church itself is a perfect answer for imperfect saints. It is a place, given to us of the Lord, to aide us in God’s plan to conform us into Christ’s image.
As to the charge that churches are corruptThat is not a fair assessment. Of course there are corrupt churches. There are entire denominations that are corrupt. Satan has created Christian denominations for the very purpose of corrupting Christianity. That does not mean that every church is corrupt. Find one that is not.
God puts so much emphasis on the church that He calls it “thefulness of him that filleth all in all.
Christ is the fullness of God and the church is the fullness of Christ.
