Mark 3:1-2 (KJV) Pettiness

Mark 3:1-2 (KJV)
And he entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there which had a withered hand. And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him.
  • Again it is a Sabbath day
  • Again there is someone in need
  • Again Jesus is there
This describes, I think, every service in the house of God.
  • Jesus is there and
  • Someone needs Him
But there were some whose whole attention was accusing Jesus. For them it did not matter who Jesus is or what He could do. They had little or no concern for the needy man. They had no interest in spiritual truth. They were only concerned with their disagreement with Jesus.
“Lord open the eyes of souls to something bigger and better than their pettiness.”
