Revelation 11:7 (KJV)
And when
they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the
bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill
them.
The witnesses have two ministries and two
methods of delivering their message:
The
first is through their power filled life
God so moved that they were protected
from dangers and could preach with extraordinary boldness and effectiveness.
The
second was through their death
As their bodies lay in the street men and
women at first celebrated the silence of them, then focused on the stillness of
them until they were shocked at the snatching of them to heaven. Truly as Abel
they, "being dead
yet speaketh."
We too have two opportunities to deliver
the message God gives us;
- The one is while we
live and breathe on this earth.
- The other is through our testimony after death.
I wonder; are our messages consistent? Do
we say what we ought both now and in our testimony at death?
