The news here in Washington State has been flooded with articles informing us that those in prison are no longer to be referred to as inmates or other titles that stigmatize them as unique from the rest of the state’s population. Guards would certainly not want to risk offending these honest participants in society with terms they view as derogatory or demeaning. Why, maybe we ought to restore to them every right of the citizen and hand out voter’s ballots right there in their cell!
The Word of God, in a passage already ignored and scoffed by our state in particular,[1] declares that in the last days those who deserve to be punished will not be and those in charge of them will take pleasure in them.
Seems like Washington State has fulfilled this prophecy.
