Psalms 138:7 KJV
Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
Gill said, "Trouble attends the best of men; both outward and inward trouble, from sin, Satan, and the world; yea, they are in the midst of it, surrounded with it; and it is a way in which they walk through this world, and enter the kingdom of heaven..."[1]
If only we would look to the Lord who revives us in the midst of our trouble instead of the trouble we are in the midst of! Life on this earth has its troubles. If we are not in the midst of one right now, we have either just gone out of it or we are just getting ready to enter into it. But it is through these troubles that God desires to revive us, protect us and save us. Without the troubles, we would never know the presence of God's right hand.
