John 5:13-15 (KJV) I’m Gonna Tell

John 5:13-15 (KJV)
And he that was healed wist not who it was: for Jesus had conveyed himself away, a multitude being in that place.Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee. The man departed, and told the Jews that it was Jesus, which had made him whole.
At the first the man who was healed didn’t have much to say because he didn’t know much. He went about his way, walking in his knew, whole life and happy to do it.
Of course this new life created a stir.
  • It was different for his family
  • It was different for his friends and acquaintances
  • It was different for his religious peers
He was not the same. And, though he was happy not to be the same, he couldn’t much explain why he wasn’t the same.
Jesus didn’t leave him there. Jesus gave him more information; He taught him more perfectly in the way, if you will.
And then he told. He immediately went to find people to tell.
What a picture of salvation. We need know very little to be happily saved. But we need never remain in that state. Jesus never leaves us. There are always future visitations from God and opportunities for spiritual growth.
When they happen, go tell on Jesus.
