Malachi 3:6 (KJV)
For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
People are in a perpetual state of change.
- We change ages
- We change sizes
- We change activities
- We change health
- We change in experience
- We change dependencies
- We change beliefs
- We change convictions
- We change in our understanding
- We change relationships
And for this reason we are little to be trusted. A promise made today may be altered or rendered null based on our change of circumstance.
The Lord does not change. Like the stars at night that can guide the mariner through any part of the world’s waters, the Lord can be trusted because He is forever the same.
Faith ought to be placed in God alone for He alone does not change.
