The Scripture, Foreseeing

Galatians 3:8
And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.

I loved that phrase, "...the scripture foreseeing..." Some claim that fundamental Bible believers place too much in the Bible; that we deify it. This passage does the very same thing.

It ascribes personality to the Scriptures.
Inanimate objects can't see, let alone foresee.

It ascribes deity to the Scriptures
To see is personal, to foresee is supernatural. God alone can foresee.

It ascribes salvation to the ScripturesIt is the message that Scripture foresees and forth tells that must be received and accepted if any man or woman would be saved from sin.

What a miracle is our Bible. Though the cover and paper may wear away in time, the message is preserved inerrant and perfect from generation to generation.
