Galatians 2:21
I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
This is one of the plainest passages in all of the Bible.
Righteousness cannot come from obeying the Old Testament law
If it could then the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ would have been useless
To attempt to mix faith in Christ and obeying the law for righteousness is to frustrate (or throw away) the grace of God
Thank God for His grace! It is all that we ever will need and it has the absolute power to transform a life to the glory of God.
