Hosea 2:23 KJV
And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people; and they shall say, Thou art my God.
I am forever impressed with the grace that is demonstrated in the Old Testament. Nearly every book, especially of the prophets, is a book of grace. True, there is judgment. But the judgment serves to make the grace sweeter.
I read somewhere recently that the horror that is hell only serves to make the glory of the Gospel that much more glorious.
In that very same way the judgment of the Old Testament only makes the grace offered so much more gracious.
