Job 31:6 KJV
Let me be weighed in an even balance, that God
may know mine integrity.
The balances of God are "even" (just and righteous) a believe
need never fear being given a the short end of things with God.
- His hand is just
- His judgments are righteous
- His determinations are always gracious
God is no "hanging judge" as the old westerns used to call
some outback justices. His ways do not always appear to be fair but that is
because we only see as men. God sees things from a view far beyond our own. God
can be trusted. To place ourselves in His balance is always a safe place to be.
