Ephesians 6:24 KJV
Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen. To the Ephesians written from Rome, by Tychicus.
Within this verse:
There is a truth
That all who sincerely love the Lord possess grace. It manifests itself in various ways and differently with each soul but those who love the Lord realize grace. They sense it, rely upon it, find comfort and blessing in it.
There is a prayer
As the apostle wishes this grace upon them all. His is more than a "be ye warmed and filled" sort of statement. He knows it is a truth but also prays the truth upon them.
There is a warning
This grace is on all them that love the Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity but it is on only them that love the Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity.
- Hypocritical love
- Feigned love
- Professed love
don't count. This is only valid for sincere love.
