The Worst of Times is the Best of Times

Malachi 3:16 KJV
Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.

The worst of times in this world are the best of times for those who love and fear the Lord to get together:
·       to speak of the Lord
·       to encourage one another as brothers and sisters in Christ and
·       to remind each other of the promises, instructions and duties that belong to the people of God.

While those in the world, even the religious world, might see fewer and fewer reasons to emphasize the truths of the Bible, those who genuinely fear the Lord will see even greater reason to focus their time and attention on what the Word of God says. By doing so we are able to:
·       Strengthen our own faith
·       Fortify the faith of those who are faltering and perhaps
·       Pass along the faith to one who has previously not had it

The promise of the Bible is that these gatherings of believers to speak one to another please the Lord. He hears, He records it and in due time, He will bless it.
