1 Corinthians 8:6 KJV
But to us there is but one God,
the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ,
by whom are all things, and we by him.
Paul counted himself one of the smallest numbers
of people on the earth in his time; the Christians. Those of the world, though
of larger numbers, had an opposing view concerning idols and false gods. Paul
knew their position and plainly declared "But to us…" Paul saw things
differently and wasn't in the least bothered by it.
Christians
today still rank among the smallest numbers of people in the world. Our outlook
Our lifestyle Our beliefs concerning the raising of children Our opinions about
politics and certainly Our convictions concerning heaven and hell
No
matter. Let the world think as they choose, to us, to we who are Christians,
these things are true and right.
And we
have the Word of God supporting us.
