Leviticus 1:1 (KJV) What Moses Most Enjoyed

Leviticus 1:1 (KJV)
And the LORD called unto Moses, and spake unto him out of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying,
The book of Exodus ends with the construction of the Tabernacle and with Moses speaking to God from within it. Leviticus is, at least in part, what God said to Moses while there. Adam Clarke suggests that the whole of Leviticus was delivered in an eight-day period of time. John Gill adds that Moses may have written some portions of the book at some other period and then added to the book due to their containing the same theme; the practice of the Levitical priesthood.
I imagine Moses, his face aglow with the glory of God. He has entered the tabernacle, now occupied by God. Instructions concerning the particular nature of the ministry of the priests were being given, each of them in some way representative of Jesus Christ. Moses was alive with the blessing of God in learning these precepts.
Interestingly, Leviticus is vastly considered the least favorite of the books of the Bible. It reveals our lack of relationship with God that we don’t enjoy that thing Moses most enjoyed.
