Revelation 3:4 (KJV)
Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.

It isn’t difficult to picture the current state of our country as Sardis like. Spiritual death is the  norm. We are certainly far from perfect before God. One would wonder if there is any possibility of revival. (Preachers have been speculating on that at least as long as I’ve been in the ministry.)

Though the clouds seem dark these days, and evil seems to be at an all time high, I believe we can claim this passage. There are a few names, even in our day, who have not defiled their garments.

Jesus is coming again. He knows the state of affairs and we can trust Him.
