2 Chronicles 15:14-15 (KJV) Principles for Revival

2 Chronicles 15:14-15 (KJV)
And they sware unto the LORD with a loud voice, and with shouting, and with trumpets, and with cornets.
And all Judah rejoiced at the oath: for they had sworn with all their heart, and sought him with their whole desire; and he was found of them: and the LORD gave them rest round about.
The covenant Judah swore would be criticized in our day. The modern application would simply be having no company with those who walk not according to the things we have learned in the Bible. It doesn’t have to be viewed as barbaric.
What I wish to focus upon is that, when they sought the Lord with their whole desire, He was found of them. Nothing has changed in this regard. The Lord is nigh unto every one of us.
If we will learn the principle of separation and then seek the Lord with our whole being,
  • We can be revived,
  • We can have cause of rejoicing and
  • We can have rest for our souls
