2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

This verse is God’s answer to Solomon’s prayer in 6:38-39. Solomon’s asked the Lord, “If they return and pray, then hear from the heavens.”

God’s response was? “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

• My prayer to God, for the people of God, is that they would return and pray. 
• My prayer to God is that He would then hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal our land.
