1 Corinthians 9:10 (KJV) No Doubt

1 Corinthians 9:10 (KJV)
Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope.
There are some personal applications to be made from this passage and its context.
It is appropriate to make personal applications
For our sakes, no doubt … personal applications are to be found throughout the word of God. It is what makes the Bible profitable. We should never lose sight of the primary interpretation but that in no way annuls personal applications.
The Old Testament was written, no doubt, for our sakes
Ignore those hyper dispensationalists who rip away the Old Testament from the New Testament Christian.
There is always hope
What farmer would plant the fields if he believed there would be no harvest, no compensation for the work? When serving the Lord, when laboring in his fields, do so in hope of a harvest.
Live for the Lord. Serve Him with gladness. And serve Him in the hope of His blessings.
