When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people;
Consider the plight of the young Israeli people. God had promised them the land of Canaan. But being at the time just seventy souls, it was not a good time to take possession.
The Lord moved them:
- From this one nation to another and
- From this one kingdom, the Bible says, to another people
Another people with:
- A different language
- A different culture
- A different form of government
- A different sentiment towards them
Different nations and kingdoms are, necessarily, filled with different peoples. They speak differently and they think differently. They respond to the Word of God different.
But they all need the gospel.
God protected this small group of Israel when they came to this different people.
Psalms 105:14 (KJV)
He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes;
God will protect us too.
