And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
This is life eternal.
Jesus provides both a definition and a direction for eternal life.
Eternal life consists of knowing God and Jesus Christ
Eternity will be spent getting to know God the Father and God the Son ever more intimately and closely. What could be better than being in God’s presence, hearing Him, and He hearing us? To know Him forever is eternal life indeed.
Eternal life is received by Knowing God and Jesus Christ
- It isn’t what you know that saves; it’s who you know.
- It isn’t a religion that saves; it’s a relationship.
- It is what you’ve done that saves; it’s what He’s done.
Eternal life is received through coming to know the Lord and spent getting to know Him infinitely better.
