For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
There is a strong connection between faith and confession. While a person doesn’t need to be a witness to be saved, the Bible finds it difficult to envision a saved person who doesn’t bear witness.
Likewise, there's a significant link between faith and hearing. God created us to be communicators:
- We speak.
- We hear.
- We think.
- We learn.
We either believe or reject what we have heard, and we communicate our convictions.
This is all good. There’s nothing wrong with any of it.
The problem arises when we stop communicating.
