Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
The implication of this rhetorical question is that they do know the saints shall judge the world.
It is known by the revelation of Scripture.
Both Old and New Testaments prophesy of the future kingdom and of God and His children leading all nations.
It is known, I believe, inherently.
The Bible assures us that all men know there is a God. And all men, if they would be honest, know that Jesus is the way to Him. I understand there are those who’ve never heard—but even they know they need something more than the false gods of their culture.
It is known through observation.
Righteousness eventually rises. Wickedness may claw its way to the top, but it can never stay there.
And I think this is partly why worldliness hates the Lord and those who follow Him. Deep down, they know that judgment is coming—and they know the saints will be involved in it.
