Acts 4:12 (KJV) One Saviour, One Way, One Name

Acts 4:12 (KJV) 

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Notice once again the exclusivity of the gospel.

This is a theme repeated throughout the Bible, both Old Testament and New. 

• There is no other means of salvation. 
• There is no other God. 
• There is no other path to heaven.

We must be saved through Jesus Christ—and Him as He is revealed in the Word of God—or else we are eternally and wholly lost.

This is the objection all men have against Him.

There is no such thing as a human being who objects to going to heaven, escaping hell, or receiving the promise of eternal life. They have but one objection: they desire a path of their own choosing. They insist on being their own god.

• They want to earn it.
• They want to believe they are worthy of it.

And if they cannot have it their way, they want nothing to do with God’s way—or with those who choose His way.
