2 Corinthians 4:7 KJV
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
The treasure is the gospel of Jesus Christ. And what a treasure it is!
The salvation of the soul
The forgiveness of sin, the guarantee of a home with God in heaven
The new birth into the family of God
The offices of priests and kings
And all of this given to us freely at the great cost of the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The worth of this treasure is made that much more brilliant when we consider that it is housed for us in these earthen vessels, our bodies. There is nothing glorious in us and there is everything plain about us. We are fragile, easily broken. We often crack and leak under the pressures and stresses of daily use. Yet Almighty God infuses us with Christ and the Holy Ghost when we get saved.
Truly God is worthy to be praised for this treasure.
