They Shall Be Afraid of Thee

Deuteronomy 28:9-10 KJV
The LORD shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in his ways.
And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be afraid of thee.

It seems to me that our world is afraid of the believers even today.
They are afraid of our positions against sin.
They are afraid of our positions for morality.
They are afraid of our efforts to evangelize.
They are afraid of our assurance of faith.

There is no reason a Christian should be bothered by the lost, fearing them. They ought to be under conviction and they ought to feel confronted by our holy walk with the Lord.

We do not have to be hateful and we should not be.
We do not have to be militant and angry spirited.

But if our faith in Christ and if our walk with Him brings conviction and fear to them, it is not a bad thing.
