Proverbs 11:27
He that diligently seeketh good procureth favour: but he that seeketh mischief, it shall come unto him.
What a wonderful way to live; diligently seeking good!
To spend each day pursuing opportunities to do good
To wake up each morning and study what is good
To consider the good that others are doing and fellowship with those whose desire is to seek good with you
There are different avenues we can take in seeking good:
We can seek good for our family
We can seek good for our friends and neighbors
We can seek good in the world
We can seek good in our government
We can seek good spiritually.
There are, of course, differing views about what is good. For my part, I will choose that which God clearly defines as good within the pages of his Bible.
Of all the things a man can do with his life, few would be as good as diligently seeking good.
