Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.
I heard Pastor Ron Storz say that God's blessings come to us "over time." What a true statement that is! If God poured out blessings too quickly they would soon ruin us. We would forget that every good and perfect gift came down from the Father and would be inclined to believe we had something to do with the blessings ourselves.
Patience is based on both faith and hope.
We can be patient because we know that the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.
We can be patient because we know that God will reward His own
We can be patient because we know that we have treasures laid up in heaven
Come quickly, Lord Jesus.
