Saved

Titus 3:5-7 KJV
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Praise God for salvation that is wrought not by the works of man (if they were wrought by man they could as easily be destroyed by man) but by our Almighty God. In this passage we learn that we are saved

MercifullyGod withholds from us that judgment we so rightfully deserve. His mercy is, as is all of salvation, founded upon the work of Christ. God does not merely overlook the judgment of our sin but places that judgment upon His own Son

AbundantlyGod's salvation is no small thing. Just as Peter's wife's mother was so healed that she could immediately get up and minister to those in her home (as opposed to a supposed healing that still required she rest and recuperate) when God saves us it is immediate complete and eternal.

GraciouslySalvation is a gift. It is not merited by our deeds in any way. It is completely purchased by the work of Christ and freely given those who will but rest in Christ.
