Jeremiah 29:11 KJV
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

When things get tense
When life has been discouraging
When dreams have not been fulfilled
When the heart breaks
When we are persecuted
When a friend has forsaken us
When God seems distant
When our sins are being chastened
No matter how long these low times may go on still this passage holds true; God's thoughts toward His people are of peace and not of evil.
