1 Samuel 11:6 KJV
And the Spirit of God came upon Saul when he heard those tidings, and his anger was kindled greatly.
I recognize I am using King Saul (who is generally not a good example) as an example. However at this time the Lord had not taken the kingdom from him. At this point, though the people had rebelled in asking for a king Saul has not rebelled in leading the people.
The Bible says that the Spirit of God came upon Saul and that his anger was kindled greatly.
Much damage is done through anger.
• Terrible things are said.
• Horrible events occur.
• Horrific tragedies happen when a man's anger is kindled.
But it is an error to say that anger is always wrong. It is an error to say that God never leads a man to be angry.
May God do the work that we are never angry in the flesh but that we never quench the Spirit of God when it is He that kindles the anger.
