Unbelievable

John 18:15 KJV
And Simon Peter followed Jesus, and so did another disciple: that disciple was known unto the high priest, and went in with Jesus into the palace of the high priest.

The scene in the garden is impossible to believe except that Christ controlled it. Verse four says He knew all things that should come upon Him.

• That the soldiers fell down backwards
• That Peter cut off the servant's ear without immediately being slain by soldiers.
• That Peter wasn't taken into custody
• That Jesus could speak with Peter to put away his sword
• That the soldiers allowed Peter to follow and
• That the relative of Malchus only thought he recognized Peter as being in the garden and not as the one who had striken Malchus

All of this is unbelievable unless some force bigger than the band of soldiers was controlling the circumstances.

Another Gospel says that Jesus also healed Malchus' ear. There were those watching the very event who could not see Christ's deity at work in front of them even as they must have known none of this was normal, except something else was at work among them. Lord open the eyes of people today.
