This Grace Given

Ephesians 3:8 KJV

Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

Paul said he was the least of all saints.... but he hadn't met me.

The Apostle Paul is no doubt a marvelous model for any Christian. And he encouraged believers to follow him as he followed the Lord. But he was very conscious of his own humanity.

·         He knew he had not attained.

·         He realized he had some things to forget and some things to press on for.

And so, even in his humility, we find a man to model. He saw himself as the least of all the saints receiving grace to do the work of the ministry.

Every Christian and especially every preacher would do well to view himself the same.
