Now is Come Salvation

Revelation 12:10 KJV
And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

Revelation twelve is perhaps the most mysterious of all the mysteries that are written in this final book of the Bible. It seems to cover the heavenly contest between Satan and the woman from the beginning of time until the end of this world. In the middle of the contest, we find this phrase, "Now is come salvation..."

We, who are the saved, look forward to that day when our salvation is finished. Today it is a process;
  • Our spirit has been quickened
  • Our soul has been redeemed, but
  • Our body still bears the sin nature and
  • Our world still carries the curse
The devil is still our opposition and the systems of government still belong to the powers of darkness.

But there will be a day when salvation is real in the fullest sense. Until that day we

  • Earnestly contend for the faith
  • Pray for strength to reach souls with the gospel and
  • Look for that blessed hope and glorious appearing if the great God and our Saviour, Jesus Christ
