Patience and Faith

Revelation 13:10

He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

Patience and faith are connected. In this case they are connected to justice. As terrible as the Tribulation will be, God is keeping records. Nothing is happening except that God is aware.

·       God forgets the sins of the saint

·       God forever remembers those of the unjust

This is true of the Tribulation wicked and the wicked in this pre-Tribulation day. None will get away with their sin and, as long as we may have to wait for some of this judgment to happen, it will happen.

The patience of the saint is to wait on God.

We do not need to make any judgment happen on our own account. God has it handled

The faith of the saint is both in believing God and in choosing to reach out to the lost and wicked

To forgive them and to love them knowing that we can be perfectly just in doing so because God, in the end of all things, will reckon the scales.
