There Is a Limit to Everything

Revelation 11:1-2
And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

There is a limit to everything.
·       The Temple was measured
·       The altar was measured, even
·       The number of those that worshipped a God was measured
But then no measurement was made for the Gentiles. I think for two reasons:
·       The number of saints saved from every kindred and tongue and tribe and nation is without number, and
·       The number of Gentiles following Antichrist in his aggression against the people of God is equally numberless
I know God knows the names of every man woman and child who is saved, and of those who are oppressors of the saved, but from the perspective of man it appears limitless.

However, even though a number is not attached to the Gentiles, a time is. The oppressive acts of Antichrist may be without restriction, but they will be on borrowed time. And it is but a little season. God will grant Antichrist and his followers unrestrained action, but he will grant it for only forty two months; three and one half years.

There is a limit to everything.
There is a limit to a man's life.
What we would do we must do now for we do not know we have tomorrow

There is a limit to a man's suffering.
Whatever our pain it will pass and we will move on.

There is a limit to Gods grace.

Though his mercies are new every morning, there comes a day when, after repeated rejection, the Spirit of God stops drawing the sinner to salvation
