Listen, Seek and Ask

Matthew 20:30
And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David.

Though a controversy ensued, the two blind men sought and received mercy from the Lord. Their account is an example for our own following.
They heard Jesus passed by
Those who receive mercy from the Lord are those who listen for the presence of the Lord.

They cried out
These men were not concerned what the multitudes would think. They had a need only Christ could meet. They were unashamed to seek Christ for it.

They asked specifically
Once having Christ audience they did not hesitate to ask an impossible request.

So every one of us could benefit from Christ: by listening to His Word, by seeking His mercy and then by asking specifically for our daily needs.
