Sustainable Faith

Matthew 16:1

The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would shew them a sign from heaven.

Some people live for signs and miracles. Except they see some proof they will not believe or, except they see some miracle they cannot maintain their enthusiasm and zeal.

The response of Jesus to the Pharisees was that these sign and miracles would not be coming, or else they would be few and far between. Sometimes, when they do happen, those who most seek them will not recognize them.

There is a better way to maintain a growing and sustainable faith.

·       To be constant in the bible

·       To be faithful in prayer and daily visitation with God

·       To be loyal to the house of God in attendance and service

these are consistent and predictable ministries of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
